Job Overview

The role of the Sales Commission Analyst is to guarantee precise and prompt management of the organization’s monthly sales commission payroll, which involves collecting and inputting data. The analyst will apply commission, HR, and corporate policies while evaluating commission and payroll, and will engage with sales representatives to address inquiries regarding their commission statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily updates for employee maintenance within commission files.
  • Ensure all commission entries are processed with accuracy and within deadlines.
  • Review commission reports for discrepancies and anomalies before submission to payroll.
  • Investigate Gross Margin reports provided by the accounting department to identify data issues for precise commission reporting.
  • Maintain documentation of employee compensation structures and implement modifications as necessary.
  • Comprehend and comply with corporate policies when assessing commission and payroll.
  • Generate detailed statements for sales representatives outlining their commissions.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding commissions promptly.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounting, Finance, or HR role with a focus on data management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Human Resources.

Additional Information

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $40,000 - $70,000. Compensation will be based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, thus varying among individuals. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
