About the Role:
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving sales through data-driven strategies and building strong customer relationships within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in direct sales of products to retailers, end-users, or distributors within your assigned territory.
- Ensure adherence to corporate profit contribution standards by managing allocated budgets effectively.
- Leverage syndicated data to pinpoint opportunities and deliver insightful post-analysis results to management.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Management to uncover opportunities and craft regional initiatives.
- Oversee trade spending budgets and fulfill financial sales obligations as directed by senior leadership.
- Assess current and competitor pricing, promotions, and sales tactics to identify potential business avenues.
- Work closely with the Customer Inventory Analyst and corporate teams on production forecasting for assigned brands.
- Devise recommendations for displays and promotional activities to maximize sales growth, utilizing available POS, syndicated, and consumer insights data.
- Guide the retail broker team in setting monthly objectives and assist in the overall management of the broker team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or analytics is essential.
- Proven analytical skills to interpret trends and formulate recommendations.
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources such as AC Nielsen or IRI is necessary.
- Understanding of co-managed replenishment systems with customers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of B&G Foods' brand portfolio.
