Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Rocky Brands US, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market share in the Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or Exceed Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales plans and targets, demonstrating a strong understanding of the market and our customers' needs.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in the territory, including identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and support to drive loyalty and retention.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and solve problems, presenting solutions and recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Self-Improvement and Development: Take initiative for self-improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive personal and professional growth.
  • Organization and Time Management: Demonstrate strong organization and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Effective Sales Process: Consistently use an effective sales process, including planning, listening, and closing, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans to support sales growth and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or two to four years of experience in an outside sales role or combination of education and experience.
  • Outside Sales Experience: One to three years of outside sales experience to major retailers.
  • Demonstrated Track Record of Success: Demonstrated track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market segmentation.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Travel and Physical Demands: Ability to travel 75% of the time and overnight, with the ability to perform moderate physical labor when required, including the ability to lift 50 pounds.
