Job Title: Director of Business Development

Xpedient Logistics is a leading provider of third-party logistics services, delivering dedicated warehousing and trucking solutions to a diverse range of clients. We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to spearhead the growth and strategic direction of our Commercial Contract Logistics and Labor Solutions sales activity in the Americas and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Pursue new business opportunities, qualify leads, and provide solution recommendations to clients.
  • Manage the sales cycle process, including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive account growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and account management experience in third-party logistics and/or supply chain.
  • Demonstrated ability to close and manage large account business and organic growth of existing accounts.
  • Strong business planning and budgeting skills, with experience in forecasting and margin analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
