Business Development Director

Xpedient Logistics is a leading provider of third-party logistics services, delivering dedicated warehousing and trucking solutions to a diverse range of clients. We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to spearhead the growth and strategic direction of our Commercial Contract Logistics and Labor Solutions sales activity in the Americas and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Pursue valued business opportunities, qualify leads, and provide solution recommendations to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, pricing proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and account management experience in third-party logistics and/or supply chain.
- Demonstrated ability to close and manage large account business and organic growth of existing accounts.
- Business planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
