Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at UF Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into data-driven solutions, engaging with clients to understand their requirements, and employing technical tools to create effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service requests and create/modify/support basic data solutions
  • Model key business processes and assist in the support of internal data standards
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, typically limited to a few departments for a single facility
  • Communicate with a wide customer base, ranging from unit managers to directors, while gathering information from several sources, analyzing, and summarizing the information to help draw conclusions
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: An Associate's Degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college/university plus one (1) year of relevant work experience required
  • Relevant Work Experience: Healthcare experience, EMR system experience (Epic preferred), Data analytics
  • Minimum Job Experience: One (1) year of health care data analysis experience with in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with report writing and visualization tools, such as Epic Cogito Suite (RADAR, RW, SlicerDicer), SAP Business Objects (WebI), Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Excel skills, including complex functions, formulas, and formatting
  • Proven ability to work with and track large amounts of data (millions of records) with accuracy
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
Licensure/Certification/Registration

Registrations, Certifications, and/or Licenses Preferred or Achieved Within 6 Months of Hire
