Job Title: Sales Director - Project Logistics

Mackenzie Stuart is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Project Logistics team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, cultivating strong client relationships, and developing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Project Logistics sector, focusing on the oil and gas industry.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster and sustain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring continued satisfaction and growth.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting to drive revenue growth.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and explore new market segments and geographic regions to broaden our market presence and increase market share.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Team Leadership & Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and thought leadership in the logistics industry.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the logistics industry, with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the logistics and supply chain market, including current trends, challenges, and key industry players, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven expertise in developing and executing successful sales strategies, closing complex deals, and managing high-value client relationships within the logistics industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
