Job Summary

O'Brien Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Coordinator to support our architectural design and construction administrative teams. This role requires a strong understanding of both architecture and construction processes, ensuring that projects are efficiently coordinated and executed according to design intent, regulatory requirements, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist architects in the preparation of design documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements.
  • Prepare and maintain architectural drawings and documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all design changes are documented and communicated to the engineers and subs.
  • Prepare and coordinate project deliveries for each ITR and design submission.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with architectural design and intent.
  • Conduct on-site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve any issues related to design discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in architectural coordination and construction administration.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and regulatory requirements.
