Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our healthcare practice to the next level of impact in the marketplace. As an Account Director, you'll be responsible for growing client revenue and our portfolio of successful marketing programs in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and healthcare IT sectors.

This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, relationship development, and account leadership. You'll work closely with our discipline experts to exceed client expectations for results, bold brand impact, and distinctive market positioning.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience as an Account Director in a marketing agency, specifically in the healthcare industry. Leadership in defining and driving marketing strategies for B2B companies is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team in identifying feasibility in the sales cycle and nurturing relationships with new accounts
  • Managing and exceeding client expectations, ensuring client satisfaction and internal team success
  • Fostering growth and retention for existing clients, defining program scope, deliverables, and milestones
  • Delivering against revenue quotas and forecasts by working closely with internal teams and practice leaders
  • Creating professional, engaging, and strategic proposals and estimates
  • Closely monitoring budgets to ensure overall account success
  • Bringing a clear understanding of the healthcare industry, marketing challenges, and approaches to produce superior results
  • Proactively identifying and addressing client/project challenges
  • Practicing positive approaches and sound leadership
  • Developing deep, long-standing relationships with marketing senior executives

Requirements include:

  • 5-8 years of Account Director experience in a marketing agency, specifically in healthcare
  • Leadership in defining and driving marketing strategies for B2B companies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with sufficient depth and marketing strategy and execution
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
  • High integrity and transparency
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Marketing Communications, or similar field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
