Job Overview

Pacific ExecSearch is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with robust administrative capabilities for a dedicated non-profit organization. This role is entirely onsite and offers a direct hire opportunity to be part of a team committed to community service. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive HR and administrative assistance, encompassing recruitment, benefits management, compliance, and various other responsibilities. Compensation: $65,000 - $68,000 based on experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful applicant will possess a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative HR role, demonstrating strong technical skills and expertise in corporate recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle, including job advertisements, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing necessary guidance and solutions.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Assist employees with payroll and benefits inquiries and support open enrollment activities.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures to comply with legal standards and best practices.
  • Communicate and enforce HR policies consistently across the organization.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of three years in an administrative HR position is essential.
  • PHR certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with ADP systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations is necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail, task-oriented mindset, and numerical proficiency are important.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are essential.
  • Ability to assist with recruitment tasks is necessary.
