About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder Repair Technician to join our team in Honolulu, HI. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing maintenance on welding systems and products distributed by Airgas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex welding equipment and systems at customer sites and branch facilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on various types of Airgas equipment and products, including manual, robotic, and semi-automatic welding systems.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless communication.
  • Represent Airgas to customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely completion of service orders and obtaining customer signatures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • A minimum of 2 years of electrical and/or electronic experience or training, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, and business periodicals.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with associates, managers, customers, and the general public.
Benefits:
  • $28.00 - $32.00 per hour target salary, based on experience and qualifications.
