About the Role

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to guestrooms, bathrooms, furniture, public areas, and back of the house areas of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing maintenance on HVAC, laundry equipment, guestrooms and common areas.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and work with supervisor in ordering necessary supplies, tools, etc.
  • Maintain maintenance repair par stocks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from hotel guests, employees and spa staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in maintenance/engineering to include electrical, plumbing and carpentry repair.
  • OSHA 30 Certification (acquire within 180 days of hire).
  • Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC Certification.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification.
  • Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification.
