Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $81,203, with an hourly rate of $39.04. The schedule is third shift, with a start time of 9pm on Tuesdays to Fridays. Shift differential is available.
Job DescriptionAs a Heavy Duty Truck Technician at Penske, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles. Your duties will include performing preventative maintenance services, troubleshooting and repairing major components, and ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintaining and repairing truck and trailer equipment in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting and repairing major components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs
To be successful in this role, you must have 6 years of practical experience in truck and tractor-trailer maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, as well as specialized training and experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting. You must also be able to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
