Hawaii Terminals, Inc. is a leading company in the industry, and we are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,124 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

As a Heavy Machinery Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as overhauling hydraulic pumps and valves.

You will also diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, as well as 2 & 4 cycle and battery-powered small engines.

Additionally, you will diagnose and repair wet brake systems and perform welding and cutting as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid CDL License - Type A with HazMat endorsement.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy machinery maintenance is required, as well as experience working with diagnosing and repairing wet brake systems and electric vehicles.

Proficiency in ARC and MIG and gas welding and the use of a cutting torch is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will be available for shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Bonus qualifications include ASE Air Brakes and/or Manufacture Air Brakes Trained, as well as ARC, MIG and gas welding Certification.

This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting/carrying objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds regularly.

Other physical capabilities required include working at height above 80 feet, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders/into/out of vehicles, performing work while standing, and walking on uneven surfaces.

Screening requirements include background checks, driving records, and drug testing.
