Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a vital part of the OneCause team, you will contribute to our mission of empowering organizations dedicated to meaningful causes by enhancing their outreach and boosting fundraising capabilities through our innovative solutions. Our company has been at the forefront of mobile bidding since 2007, offering a wide range of services including online donations, event coordination, mobile bidding, and peer-to-peer fundraising tailored for nonprofits.

This role is designed as a part-time, seasonal opportunity where you will provide essential support during on-site events, primarily occurring on weekends, with some midweek engagements at various venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the execution of OneCause events at designated locations
  • Collaborate effectively with OneCause personnel, including Event Managers and Onsite Support teams
  • Oversee the operation of OneCause technology, such as proprietary software, laptops, and tablets
  • Assist the Event Manager in meeting client expectations
  • Help troubleshoot software issues in real-time
  • Review and modify client auction and guest information as necessary
  • Ensure the software is utilized to its fullest potential to enhance event revenue

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Comfortable with web-based and mobile technology
  • Basic understanding of hardware setup and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexible availability for scheduling
  • Prior experience in event management, nonprofit work, or fundraising
  • Familiarity with web-based applications

The compensation for this position is set at $25 per hour.
