Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of catering events, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Manage logistics, quality control, sanitation, and all facility-related operations for catering events.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement innovative menus.
  • Provide training to catering staff on service techniques, menu presentation, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and manage labor and food costs associated with each event.
  • Maintain effective communication with management, clients, and team members to foster strong relationships.
  • Assist in all foodservice-related activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service, with at least 2 years in a management role within high-volume catering.
  • Proven experience in catering operations is essential.
  • Background in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service sectors.
  • Familiarity with food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, production, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and accounting skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • ServSafe Certification is required.
