DARCARS Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Car Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used cars, providing exceptional customer service, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
  • Follow DARCARS approach to selling, including greeting customers with a welcoming attitude, listening to their needs, and describing vehicle operations and features
  • Follow DARCARS test drive procedures, including obtaining correct identification and following test drive routes
  • Suggest optional equipment, features, and warranties for customers to purchase
  • Correctly compute and quote sales prices, work with the finance team to obtain financing, and complete necessary paperwork
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicles and address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain solid knowledge of brands and products, including features, specifications, pricing, options, and standard equipment
  • Develop and maintain a future prospect and customer follow-up system
  • Participate in all required brand and DARCARS training and utilize online digital retailing selling tools
  • May be required to use video tools to assist customers virtually with the car buying process
  • Develop personal income goals consistent with DARCARS standards and develop a strategy to consistently meet those goals
  • Comply with DARCARS policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with customers and DARCARS employees
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Comfortable using video tools, Facetime, etc., to assist customers
  • Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings, and weekends
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable safe driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background)
