Overview
We are looking for a full-time, seasoned Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to enhance our high-performing team. This role is pivotal in fostering growth and broadening market outreach. The individual will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new business ventures within the fuel sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales, strategic planning, and relationship management, along with a comprehensive understanding of the fuel industry and its market dynamics.
This candidate should also have established connections within the Data Center/Trades community that can be leveraged in this position.Key Responsibilities & Duties
Market Research and Opportunity Recognition:
o Conduct in-depth market analysis to pinpoint potential clients, market segments, and emerging trends within the fuel sector.
o Evaluate competitor strategies and market conditions to uncover opportunities for business advancement and development.
Strategic Business Planning:
o Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to penetrate new markets and enhance the company's footprint in existing markets.
o Collaborate with executive leadership to establish long-term business goals and devise strategies to accomplish them.
Sales and Business Expansion:
o Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including fuel distributors, retailers, and industrial consumers.
o Identify and pursue new business avenues, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic collaborations.
o Lead negotiations for significant contracts and agreements, ensuring advantageous terms and conditions for the organization.
Client Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
o Develop tailored solutions to address the unique needs of clients and effectively tackle their challenges.
Marketing and Promotion:
o Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design targeted marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to bolster business development efforts.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track sales performance against targets and KPIs, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing corrective measures as necessary.
o Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive management, providing updates on business development activities, market trends, and sales performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the fuel sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of fuel products, distribution channels, and market dynamics. Strong understanding of fuel products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Established connections within the Data Center/Trades community.
Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
Highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
A business degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.
5-10 years of experience in the fuel or energy sector.
