Job Summary

Vantage Construction Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our tenant interiors projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initial concept to close out, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality construction services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including estimators, subcontractors, and owners.
    • Manage project documentation, including bid packages, change orders, and project close-out.
  • Estimating and Pre-Construction
    • Work with the President, Executive Vice President, and Estimator to establish subcontractor and vendor lists.
    • Attend pre-construction and pre-bid meetings with owners, architects, and design professionals.
    • Compile and assemble project bid packages, including budgets, value engineering, unit pricing, qualification, and exclusion statements.
  • Project Accounting and Administration
    • Manage project accounting, including subcontractor and owner requisitions, change orders, and job cost meetings.
    • Process invoices and field receipts.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes and project close-out reports.
  • Safety and Quality
    • Supervise and enforce Vantage's Safety Program.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Provide oversight and guidance to Assistant Project Managers and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically tenant interiors.
  • College degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of project management software, including Procore.
  • Broad understanding of the commercial contracting industry.
  • Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Good math/accounting skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
