About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise to drive business growth and expansion. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for researching new markets and opportunities, curating new business, and maintaining a database of business development materials to improve company performance and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business development success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional business development role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a sales assistant, lead generator, or direct sales role.
  • Professional registration (P.E., etc.) and industry accreditations (LEED AP) required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (with strong InDesign experience).
