Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospice Account Executive to join our team at St. Croix Hospice. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and designated communities, providing education on hospice care, and assisting with intake coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet admission and call volume targets to ensure timely and accurate referral coordination.
  • Coordinate daily sales and marketing operations, including the implementation of marketing initiatives to achieve budgetary sales volume projections.
  • Build and monitor customer perceptions of St. Croix Hospice as a high-quality provider of services.
  • Document all sales activity in the CRM per organizational requirements.
  • Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance the flow of communication between patients, families, caregivers, facilities, physicians, and hospice support vendors.
  • Provide patients, families, and caregivers with education on hospice care and encourage informed decision-making.
  • Assist the Director of Patient Services/Regional Director in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and allocating resources accordingly.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan to meet budgetary volume projections.
  • Assist with coordinating and scheduling marketing events, vendor fairs, and exhibits within various territories.
  • Participate in mentoring and shadowing of Care Transition Coordinators to assist in territory management.
  • Assist in orienting new staff members of the marketing team.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning, identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of marketing and community resources, and assist customers in accessing community resources when services are not provided.
  • Monitor and report the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Clinical background and hospital familiarity are preferred.
  • Ability to position services to and deal tactfully with customers and clients.
  • Demonstrates good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
