Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced WA State Registered Dietitian (RD) with a strong commitment to educating and training individuals with diabetes. This role involves delivering personalized diabetes self-management education and training to both individuals and groups, as well as providing comprehensive skills training to patients and their families facing diabetes and other nutritional challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the diabetes program coordinator to develop tailored nutrition plans and conduct individualized follow-ups with patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care for our patients.

Compensation:
The hiring range for this position is between $34.80 and $48.55 per hour, with placement within this range determined by an assessment of your experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in dietetics and/or nutrition accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). A WA State certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or an unencumbered RN license is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a diabetes educator and familiarity with training patients on the use of Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps.

Additionally, a 401k retirement plan with employer contributions is available after the first year of employment.

Employees accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) and Personal Time based on hours worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full-time staff, and 200 hours for full-time supervisors and above, with increases in subsequent years. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked.
