HR Administrative Support Specialist

Our Human Resources Division is on the lookout for a Human Resources Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the operational efficiency of our HR department by delivering essential administrative support and contributing to various departmental projects and initiatives as required.

Key Responsibilities:Support Benefits Administration:
- Assist with onboarding and benefits enrollment for new hires.
- Generate benefits reports.
- Address inquiries related to benefits and 401(k) plans.
Maintain Personnel Files:
- Organize and file all personnel, benefits, and background check documentation.
- Create and manage files for new hires and terminated employees.
- Ensure proper organization of the filing system within the HR department.
Execute Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare materials for new hire orientations.
- Collaborate with the HR Coordinator on office supply management.
- Coordinate with external vendors for supplies and services.
- Manage general office phone communications.
- Track and order service awards and certificates.
Project Support:
- Assist in preparing materials for training sessions and meetings.
- Support the HR Director with project-related data compilation.
- Help during compliance audits and personnel file reviews.
- Completion of some college coursework in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Psychology is desired.
Licenses:
Valid California Driver's License required.
