Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR-related functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Administration
    • Assist with benefit-related inquiries, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits provided by the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Focus on regulatory functions of Human Resources, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • HR Operations
    • Work with other departments to achieve the organization's mission and goals.
    • Maintain and improve current HR-related processes.
    • Help create and modify HR policies and procedures.
    • Support the creation of job descriptions and review job descriptions for approval.
    • Maintain and update knowledge and awareness of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Support talent acquisition duties, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, pre-hire background checks, and identifying new services for attracting talent.
    • Phone screens and onboarding.
  • Employee Documentation
    • Maintain all proper employee documentation and files.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a non-profit setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and policies.
  • Experience creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
  • Experience in conducting annual compliance audits.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Must pass a National Background Check.
  • Must be willing to work in Bellevue, WA.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Word and Excel.
  • Experience in maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Required to sometimes assist in operations.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-CP preferred or can be earned on the job.
