Manager Natural Gas Resources

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager Natural Gas Resources. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our natural gas resource activities and contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Natural Gas Resource Strategy
Develop, manage, and implement strategy regarding natural gas resource activities for Puget Sound Energy, including Canadian and US pipeline rates and tariffs proceedings and resource planning and additions to PSE's energy supply portfolio.
Lead Regulatory ProceedingsLead and coordinate key functions, including primary negotiations and oversight of PSE's interest in Canadian and US pipeline service provider regulatory proceedings.
Acquire and Develop Natural Gas ResourcesLead and coordinate acquisition strategy regarding the acquisition of new natural gas resources or restructuring of existing resources, evaluating financial implications and alternatives of specific resource opportunities.
Represent PSE's InterestsRepresent PSE's interests in project development or acquisitions with outside parties, working with PSE executives to develop business strategies and manage PSE's natural gas portfolio requirements.
Ensure Safety and ComplianceUphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities, promoting and supporting a culture of total safety.
Develop and Present ReportsFormulate and conduct presentations internally and externally, including PSE executives and industry events, responding to infrastructure and resource emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
Requirements- Education and Experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience, with 4 years in energy trading or operations and 2 years natural gas or power trading experience.
Knowledge and SkillsDemonstrated knowledge of Pacific Northwest gas and power energy infrastructure, regional gas pipeline infrastructure, regional basis trading, gas storage inventory management, and pipeline imbalance management.
Leadership and CommunicationDemonstrated strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in evaluating fundamental market trends, assessing forward market prices, and developing hedging strategies.
