Job Details

Infosys Limited Digital is seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot incidents, and perform day-to-day operational activities independently.

The chosen candidate will assist in telecom administration activities and impact analysis on existing data center, network, telecom, and security infrastructure.

The role holder will be responsible for all telecom-related activities, including telecom-related change management & problem management, technology currency initiatives, addressing security vulnerabilities related to network & telecom.

All activities will need to be performed with high quality, timeliness, and compliance to laid-down processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Cisco voice networks and VOIP support.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cisco Voice and UCCE administration and maintenance.
  • Experience in Verint Maintenance & Support.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Routing and Switching.
  • Knowledge of call center technologies, ConvergeOne platform.
  • Willingness to work in production support and on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

This role requires physical handling of telecom equipment across the premises, including the data center. The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
