Key Responsibilities:

As the Lead Project Manager for Transportation Initiatives, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the successful execution of assigned projects.
  • Coordinating and directing the efforts of multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Managing all facets of complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and effective resource allocation.
  • Simultaneously handling multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships, particularly with transportation agencies and stakeholders.
  • Facilitating collaborative sessions for project deliverables with team members and external partners.
  • Monitoring project staffing and workload to ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Tracking financial performance and adjusting project plans to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Engaging with leadership for regular project evaluations and strategic alignment.
  • Implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Mentoring junior project managers and providing guidance to enhance their professional development.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; experience with Access is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • A commitment to contributing positively to our employee-owned culture.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 20 years of relevant work experience.
  • 15 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects for transportation clients.
