Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in overseeing the development, execution, and management of various research projects within the institution. The individual will serve as the primary contact for assigned projects, ensuring effective coordination and management of medium to large-scale information technology and research infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and support of internal funding mechanisms for research.
  • Oversee the coordination of the Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee (PRMC) and manage associated workflows.
  • Conduct analyses and implement continuous process improvements related to research systems and infrastructure.
  • Perform return on investment (ROI) analyses and provide strategic recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
  • Utilize project management tools to define project scope, objectives, and milestones.
  • Facilitate regular communication across all levels of the organization and conduct project-related meetings.
  • Plan and lead group and individual project meetings, ensuring effective evaluation and recommendation of process workflows.
  • Manage training for researchers and students involved in the research group.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience in clinical research, project management, or research administration.
  • Experience in administering grant funding mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with five years of research administration experience and three years of project management experience.
  • Familiarity with IT development for reporting solutions.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience with survey building tools.

Additional Information:

This position requires a strong understanding of biomedical and clinical research processes, along with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. The individual will play a crucial role in achieving and maintaining NCI Designation for the institution.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
