Job Summary

The Banquet Chef is a key member of the culinary team at ClubCorp, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our Members and guests. This role requires a high level of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing food production, inventory, and quality control.
  • Support the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary programs.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of banquets and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to Member and guest feedback and concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a high-volume culinary environment.
  • Working knowledge of broiler, pantry, and sauté stations, with the ability to train and mentor junior staff.
  • Diplomatic and team-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional Member experiences and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
