Banquet Chef Job Description

About the Role:

The Banquet Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our Members and guests. This role requires a strong leader who can support a la carte and private event food production while maintaining consistent food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in tasks as needed, demonstrating a collaborative and diplomatic approach to team work.
  • Support the development of culinary teams, fostering relationships with Members, Employee Partners, and guests.
  • Drive excellence in food quality, presentation, and Member satisfaction, exceeding expectations through passion and commitment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain ServSafe certification (internal candidates).

Requirements:

  • Prior leadership experience in a culinary setting.
  • Working knowledge of broiler, pantry, and sauté stations.
  • Diplomatic team player with a passion for delivering exceptional Member experiences.
