Job Overview

Elmington Property Management is on the lookout for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee operations at a distinguished property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Direct and manage the workflow of the maintenance team, effectively delegating tasks.
  • Monitor and control budgetary expenditures to meet financial goals.
  • Procure necessary supplies, materials, and tools efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
  • Manage landscaping and snow/ice removal activities.
  • Maintain clear communication with residents and team members, even in challenging situations.
  • Execute service requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize technology for communication and maintenance management.
  • Adhere to Elmington's standards for service requests and property turnover times.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, innovative thinking, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Certifications such as EPA, HVAC, or CPO are preferred.
  • Bilingual skills and experience in multifamily settings are essential.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to maintain the property’s physical condition effectively.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
  • Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
  • Accurate timekeeping and adherence to company policies are required.
