Join Princeton Management as a Regional Facilities Operations Manager
Princeton Management is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Regional Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a diverse portfolio of multi-family properties. As the inaugural Regional Facilities Operations Manager for this area, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational success of multiple properties while collaborating closely with the Regional Area Director and Facilities Director. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the performance, safety, and operational standards across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations for multiple multi-family properties, managing the maintenance teams at each site.
- Lead project assignments, assisting in the development of project scopes, specifications, budgets, timelines, and schedules.
- Engage with vendors and suppliers to negotiate and finalize contracts and services required for property maintenance.
- Collaborate with Facilities staff on capital improvement projects, reviewing specifications, preparing estimates, and managing staffing assignments.
- Provide regular updates to company leadership regarding project statuses, addressing concerns, and planning necessary actions to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Develop and mentor team members through effective hiring, training, and performance management in alignment with company policies and values.
- Conduct property inspections to monitor progress, support team members, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Complete administrative reports and analyses, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management with a foundation in maintenance and capital improvements.
- Experience in team management and vendor coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical work is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities for both daily operations and long-term planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on effective delegation and negotiation.
Compensation:
The starting pay ranges from $35 to $38 per hour, contingent on location and relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and certifications. This is a full-time position with potential for extended hours and weekend work as needed. In addition to the base salary, candidates may qualify for an annual performance bonus based on individual and company performance, as well as eligibility for housing and a company vehicle.
