  • Guest Experience: Ensure that your teams greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated, encouraging guest loyalty.
  • Leadership Attributes: Demonstrate leadership attributes to include building and maintaining trust with the store teams by setting clear and measurable goals, holding self and teams accountable, and communicating frequently and effectively.
  • Team Development: Build and develop strong teams by hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, offering timely feedback on performance, and leading by example.
  • Operational Excellence: Achieve operational excellence by developing performance goals aligned with the company's operational objectives, hitting financial goals (sales/expenses to budget, net profit), and striving for year-over-year improvement.
  • Food Operations: Manage food operations to ensure quality and safety of all items sold.
  • Store Appearance: Manage the overall appearance and cleanliness of the stores (inside and out) ensuring that all food prep areas are clean and stocked, the food service areas are spotless, and the bathrooms are sparkling clean.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and other guidelines in place for successful food service operation.
Working Relationships

This role requires strong relationships with various stakeholders, including Restaurant Clerks, Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, Restaurant Managers, In-Training, General Managers, Brand Managers, and Corporate personnel and vendors.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High School or GED
  • Experience: 1 year leadership or supervisory capacity in a restaurant environment, leading a team
  • Licenses/Certifications and Skills: Valid Driver's license, National Food & Safety requirement (can acquire during employment)
  • Soft Skills: Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members, high energy, ability to move from one activity to another quickly, team-oriented, willing to give extra effort to help others, computer skills are helpful
Work Environment

This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Subway locations can be open 24 hours depending on the location. Weekend and holiday hours are required. The role requires a minimum of 50 hours per week and may involve travel (5%) for business purposes.
