Quality Assurance Specialist
We are in search of a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to spearhead and oversee comprehensive quality assurance initiatives for innovative product introductions. In this role, you will be accountable for establishing a robust quality framework that guarantees continuous adherence to client specifications during manufacturing processes. Collaboration with the Launch Engineer and engagement with site customer quality assurance, product development, and production teams will be essential to formulate and implement the quality assurance strategy.
Your primary duties will encompass:
- Driving the formulation of advanced quality strategies, measurement methodologies, and procurement of the product measurement toolkit for launches.
- Creating, documenting, and evaluating inspection, quality assurance, and calibration protocols.
- Supporting the development, documentation, and execution of IATF 16949 quality management systems.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Training in Statistical Process Control (SPC) with practical knowledge (including Gage R&R expertise).
- Completion of a Blueprint interpretation course that includes Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
- Training or practical knowledge in Control Plans and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Training in measurement tool usage (Micrometers, Height Gage, Calipers, Dial Indicators, Thread Gages, etc.).
