Key responsibilities include delivering direct care and support to program participants.
The Support Services Coordinator will engage with individuals on a variety of skill enhancement activities and group initiatives, including social skills, communication, education, vocational training, community participation, and daily living tasks. Employ effective techniques to foster social and communication abilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided
- High school diploma or GED required; candidates must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to assist in lifting program participants alongside another staff member
- Required: valid driver's license, clean driving record, and readiness to operate agency vehicles
- Successful completion of Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check
