Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Pipe Superintendent to join our team at Comfort Systems USA Southeast. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC construction projects and managing project needs, including materials, personnel, schedules, and communication with project management teams, customers, and building officials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with project management teams, customers, and building officials to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor project teams, including foremen, apprentices, and other personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in HVAC construction project management, with a focus on piping and welding.
  • 6G certification required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects with budgets ranging from $1M to $5M.
  • Experience supervising project teams, including foremen, apprentices, and other personnel.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
