Position Overview

Our headquarters is located in Carlsbad, CA, and we manage projects across the United States, with a dedicated team that operates on-site for each assignment. Our expertise lies in expedited projects within new commercial construction, catering to both public and private sectors, with a significant emphasis on military contracts.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Construction Supervisor will play a vital role in supporting the Superintendent by:

  • Overseeing daily operations and ensuring effective coordination of construction activities.
  • Managing personnel and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Benefits Include: Vehicle allowance, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, and paid time off for vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED; further education in construction management or engineering is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, particularly on medium to large-scale projects.
  • Field or trade experience in construction is highly desirable, with a preference for candidates with government or military project experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with specific software such as Primavera, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is advantageous.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS are required; training may be provided.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.
  • LEED GA Credential is desirable.
