Overview:
The MercyOne West Pediatric Clinic is seeking a dedicated CMA, LPN, or RN to become part of our compassionate team. MercyOne Central Iowa encompasses four not-for-profit Catholic medical facilities and two specialty hospitals, providing comprehensive care to our community.
  • Our facilities include MercyOne Children's Hospital and MercyOne Rehabilitation Hospital, with a total of 965 beds, alongside over 20 additional locations that host more than 50 primary care pediatric, internal medicine, and specialty clinics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or be a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), LPN, or RN. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. In the healthcare environment, effective support is essential for success.

Our Medical Assistants, LPNs, and RNs play a vital role in communicating with patients and their families throughout their clinic experience, ensuring a positive interaction from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Document patients' medical histories, vital signs, and test results in medical records
  • Serve as a "Clinical Concierge" for patients and their families
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient assessments
  • Gather medical information and record vital signs
  • Guide patients to examination rooms and assist them in preparing for their appointments
