Technical Support Associate

Vinson & Elkins is seeking a Technical Support Associate to enhance our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering assistance to end-users, focusing on both hardware and software solutions, while collaborating with the National IT Manager on various projects. This position also encompasses providing advanced software application and computer hardware support for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver support for computer hardware, printers, and telecommunication devices.
  • Provide technical assistance for organizational hardware, telephones, printers, and software applications.
  • Oversee second-level Help Desk inquiries and ensure timely responses.
  • Set up handheld devices for users and maintain an updated inventory of company-owned devices.
  • Assist with the installation and upgrading of hardware and software.
  • Support users with remote access and resolve any related issues.
  • Engage in the installation and troubleshooting of telephone systems, computer equipment, network devices, and file servers.
  • Manage audio-visual support for various communication needs and oversee the setup of presentations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in special projects as required.
  • Communicate with vendors as necessary.
  • Carry out any other assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Work Environment:
  • This role is situated in a standard office environment, subject to time constraints.
  • Occasional overtime may be required, including weekend availability.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
