Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Manager to join our team at Canarchy Holding Co LLC. As a key member of our sales and distribution team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our craft beer portfolio in assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and distribution strategies to drive growth of the CANarchy portfolio in assigned markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to ensure consistent focus and effort in growing the CANarchy portfolio.
  • Oversee and ensure distributor inventory levels, working closely with the CANarchy Beer Orders team and distributor purchasing managers.
  • Provide account management, planning, and execution in chain and key accounts within assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to develop and execute the Annual Business Plan for assigned distributors and an overall strategic sales plan for assigned territories.
  • Manage and train CANarchy sales reps within assigned territories, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain regular and frequent communication with the Regional Sales Director and Sales Management team regarding strategy, sales data, and market performance.
  • Participate in Territory Sales Rep development and training, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our distributors and retail partners.
  • Provide market-level information to the Regional Sales Director, including sales data, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Travel within assigned territories to meet with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners, and to attend industry events and conferences.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the craft beer industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the 3-tier system and ability to balance the demands of wholesaler management and retail execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territories, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Physical and Mental Requirements

The Market Manager will be required to frequently lift and move 10-50 pounds, and to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls. The position requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, with the ability to handle stressors and work in a fast-paced environment.
