Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications and Marketing Director to join our team at The Village Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication and marketing strategies to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication and marketing plans to engage our target audience and promote our brand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain our brand identity, including visual and tone-of-voice guidelines.
  • Develop and distribute engaging content across various channels, including social media, email, and our website.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a non-profit or social enterprise setting.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing software.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
