Job Summary

The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing the pre-employment onboarding process for assigned candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate and hiring-manager experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the pre-employment onboarding process for assigned candidates, including generating reports to track progress and completion.
  • Interface with candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams to provide exceptional customer service and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and complete required pre- and post-job offer screening requirements, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Verify and upload required documentation in the system of record, ensuring data accuracy in all systems and documents.
  • Run reports and track relevant performance metrics, scheduling and coordinating interviews between recruiters, candidates, and hiring teams.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of administrative or clerical experience required; experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with office software systems required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to utilize technologies such as MS Office products and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and candidates, working independently with minimal supervision.
