Contract Operations Administrator

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Contract Operations team, you will be responsible for leading contract operation functionalities across the division, including project management, planning, contract closeouts, data analytics, reporting, and interfacing with internal key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare program-related meetings, proposals, independent contracts assessments, business plans, work statements, and specifications within a contract acquisition lifecycle.
  • Engage in the preparation and execution of daily programmatic activities, as directed.
  • Act as internal contact for program activities to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Support establishment of milestones and monitors adherence to company processes and procedures, identifying program solutions.
  • Coordinate planning and allocation with functional management organizations (e.g. Business Management, Contracts, and Global Supply Chain).
  • Support routine status briefings for internal key stakeholders.
  • Support development of new business opportunities, or expands current lines of business within the assigned business portfolio.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years relevant experience or Masters Degree with 3 years relevant experience; In lieu of formal degree, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to effectively work with the management of other organizations (program management, contracts, business management, finance, and supply chain management) as well as representatives of Government agencies.
  • Must be experienced in Cost Point and 1ERP SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.
  • The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven time management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 5 years.
  • Prior experience operating across geographically dispersed domains.
  • Prior experience in project management, operations, earned value, contracts closeout, contracts systems, and/or contracts services.
  • Experience in administering various contract types (e.g. CPIF, CPIF, FFP, CPFF, etc.) of varying sizes.
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting Regulations with the ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation, and customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBi, Contract Management System (CMS), One Source.
