Technical Support Specialist

At C4 Technical Services, we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients. Your primary goal will be to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to desktop, server, mainframe, remote connectivity, and telephony applications/hardware
- Document and route level 2 and 3 issues to appropriate teams
- Collaborate with level 2 and level 3 teams to identify issues and implement fixes
- Utilize scripts and available tools to assist clients
- Contribute to department documentation and knowledge base
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic understanding of mainframe operating systems, Linux/Unix operating systems, telephony support applications, remote connectivity applications, and video conferencing solutions
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Shiftwork required - Must be able to work day, night, and weekend shift rotations, which may include overtime and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
