About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Southernmost Beach Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks to prepare and present high-quality dishes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team, managing budgets, and driving results.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, health and safety regulations, and liquor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
