Position Summary:

ROLE SCOPE:
The Support Services team at Services For The Underserved, Inc. comprises a diverse group of professionals dedicated to our mission. We provide essential resources and assistance to program departments, fostering a collegial and dynamic culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and respect in all interactions.

As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst, you will become part of a proactive department focused on safeguarding both the organization and the individuals we serve.

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing compliance strategies, offering technical guidance to program staff through training sessions, and performing targeted assessments, internal audits, and compliance inquiries.

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will prepare comprehensive reports detailing review outcomes, communicate findings to senior management, and propose actionable recommendations for enhancements and corrections.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audits/Reviews:
- Conduct thorough reviews of billing practices to ensure adequate documentation.
- Evaluate the quality of clinical case documentation and service delivery.
- Perform site assessments to verify adherence to regulatory standards.
- Execute follow-up audits to ensure effective implementation of corrective measures.
- Draft detailed reports summarizing audit findings.
- Assist in the creation of audit tools for various assessments.

Training:
- Facilitate compliance and documentation training sessions for staff.
- Contribute to the development and revision of training materials.

Compliance Investigations:
- Lead investigations into regulatory and compliance matters.
- Prepare investigation reports outlining findings and suggesting corrective actions.

Compliance Support:
- Provide technical support to staff regarding documentation and compliance queries.
- Develop and enhance internal controls and monitoring systems across departments.
- Identify areas of compliance risk and assist in formulating policies and corrective action plans.
- Represent the quality assurance department in inter-departmental meetings to ensure compliance.
- Attend external meetings and training sessions on behalf of the organization.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Show initiative and maintain productivity. Effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, adapting to changes in assignments and organizational needs.

Exhibit expertise in relevant job functions and stay informed about best practices and developments in the field.

Communicate ideas clearly and effectively in writing, using appropriate language and ensuring clarity for the intended audience.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in the healthcare or non-profit sector.


Willingness to:
- Travel extensively.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet departmental needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Master's Degree is preferred.
- Experience in auditing is advantageous.

In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven years of experience in the healthcare or non-profit sector will be considered.
