Job Overview

Principal Service Solutions is seeking dedicated Manufacturing Technicians. No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive training. Recent High School graduates are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment through effective housekeeping, proper labeling, and waste disposal.
  • Perform data entry and manage documentation for product shipments.
  • Utilize computers for the automated processing of products.
  • Transport materials and manage lots within the Clean Room.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area while adhering to Clean Room protocols.
  • Handle collaterals/reel/tape changes (pick and place).
  • Assist in de-bonding wafers.
  • Conduct routine after-processing tasks.
  • Support daily conversion/set-up as required by the product.
  • Assist with metrology inspections.
  • Report any failures to certified technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate complex challenges.
  • Capability to distinguish colors and respond to visual alarms.
  • Ability to hear machine alarms and act promptly.
  • Basic computer skills for accurate data entry.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions on a computer screen.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Previous experience in a fabrication or high-volume manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work performed in a Clean Room environment necessitates wearing a full-body cleanroom suit, safety glasses, gloves, and a mask. Personal care products such as makeup and fragrances are not permitted.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk to load and unload products, and perform various physical movements.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be capable of ascending and descending stairs and ramps while managing wafer lots and carts.

Educational Background:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculating averages/percentages.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Starting at $18.50/hr, with additional shift premiums (15%) for night shifts.
  • Overtime compensation is available after 10 hours of work per shift.
  • Opportunity for up to 28 hours of overtime monthly.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts available for both day and night schedules.
  • Compressed work schedule options (4, 5, 6, and 7).
  • Day shifts and night shifts alternate between 3 and 4 working days weekly.
