Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Housing Security Specialist to join our team at the Community Renewal Team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to provide retention services and assist with maintaining housing security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of customer needs and coordinate referrals to Community Renewal Team programs and initiatives.
  • Promote service integration within clinical services and work with the Project Longevity program staff.
  • Assist customers with the completion of rent assistance intake packets and collect data and information from customers as specified by the Funder.
  • Provide tenant/landlord mediation and address any concerns raised by tenant and/or landlord.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information received from customers and/or landlords.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field from an accredited two-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years related to property management experience, human services, or social work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with persons of varying racial/ethnic cultures, economic, and social status.
  • Proficiency in the use of available technology and ability to apply Time Management skills to prioritize customer situations.
