The Manager, Pre-Award Research Administration plays a critical role in leading and supervising the Pre-Award team, ensuring high-quality customer service to faculty members conducting sponsored research, and adherence to quality standards and all policies and award regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Management and Oversight of Pre-Award Staff: Supervise, evaluate, and review staff performing pre-award activities, including monitoring workload distribution, providing guidance, and ensuring quality in all staff activities.
- Management and Oversight of Pre-Award Process: Monitor and facilitate the proposal process, complete departmental review of CEC proposals, and develop, implement, and maintain pre-award policies and procedures.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in Sponsored Programs Administration, including creation and submission of research proposals and supervision of a team.
- Knowledge of federal rules and regulations relating to research grant and/or contract activity.
- Fundamental interpersonal skills in a professional environment and proficiency in the use of computers with a solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
