Job Summary
The Community Planning Division of the City of Cambridge Massachusetts is seeking a talented Urban Design Intern to join our team. As an Urban Design Intern, you will assist in guiding growth and development to improve quality of life in the city by providing planning and design services related to citywide and neighborhood planning, development review, and parks and public space planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of planning and design services for citywide and neighborhood planning projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform planning and design decisions.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to gather input and feedback on planning and design projects.
- Assist in the preparation of planning and design reports and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning, architecture, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
